Man Throws Baby At Deputies After Chase

"You can't throw a baby at us and expect us to treat you with kid gloves." That's what police said after they arrested 32 year old John Henry James after a chase through Florida streets. In late May, police spotted John Henry here driving a Nissan Rouge that he failed to maintain it's lane. When the unmarked patrol car attempted to pull the man over, he took off. They didn't engage in a chase at that point in time, but spotted Johnny boy driving the same car later that day, and tried to stop him, but he took off once again. They went ahead and started chasing the man then and in the process, Johnny hit the same unmarked car that tried to stop him earlier in the day. The cops laid out the stop sticks, which ended up blowing the man's tires causing him to pull in to some apartments. That's when he started running through the complex with the baby in his arms until cops caught up with him. That's when he threw the baby at the officers, who ended up actually catching the baby. He was eventually cuffed after a good struggle with the cops. He's been charged with child abuse, aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer, reckless driving, and resisting with violence.
