Death Of Connecticut Woman And Her Daughter Ruled A Murder-Suicide

The Connecticut Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is ruling the death of a woman and her daughter a murder-suicide. Authorities say Tracy Malon drowned her seven-year-old daughter Layla Malon and then stabbed herself to death. They were both found dead last week inside of their Westport home. Reports indicate that the woman was involved in an ongoing custody battle with the child's father, and that he may have been trying to evict her from the home, which he owns.
