A Delaware state lawmaker is apologizing for offensive comments he made in an email that was accidentally sent to the wrong person. The "News Journal" obtained a copy of the email, where state Representative Gerald Brady commented about an attached study suggesting strip clubs could lead to a decrease in sex crimes. Brady used an offensive slur for Chinese women, an apparent reference to a portion of the study called "Asian Development Perspectives," and also seemed to make light of women being sex trafficked. Brady, a Democrat, apologized for his comments on Facebook, saying "there is no excuse I can offer that explains my embarrassing and shameful words that insulted, stereotyped and dehumanized an entire culture while making light of a serious human rights crisis."
