People stuck in a large traffic jam on I-10 outside New Orleans Saturday evening might have thought they were in the middle of the set for the new James Bond flick when a man in a tuxedo ran past with another tuxedoed man chasing behind him with a pistol, but it wasn’t a movie; it was a wedding night gone wrong. While stuck in the traffic, Devin Jose Jones accused his new bride, Zenada Williams, and her unidentified male friend of being romantically involved. The argument escalated, the allegedly drunk Jones pulled out a gun, and the male friend ran. Jones fired several shots, hitting the man in the leg and shooting through the window of a car, and hitting the driver's hand. The bride ran to an ambulance, and when police arrived, they reportedly found Jones shaking and banging on the ambulance trying to get Williams. He’s been charged with attempted second-degree murder, illegal use of weapons, aggravated second-degree battery, and two counts of aggravated damage. Both shooting victims were listed in stable condition Saturday night.
