Three people are facing charges out of Nevada in connection to the brutal torture and murder of a local man. The Las Vegas Review Journal reports the body of Roy Jaggers was found in the Cathedral Canyon, where investigators say he was stripped, tortured with a blowtorch and an ax, and shot to death after being forced to walk off a cliff. Heather Pate, her boyfriend Kevin Dent, and Brad Mehn were arrested as suspects in the crime. Police say the three claimed that they believed Jaggers had hurt Pate's child. Jagger's family says he was a kind and non-violent person. The three suspects are set for a preliminary hearing on counts of murder and kidnapping, among others, today.
