On Sunday police in Dunedin Florida got calls of three suspicious men in the area so they went to check it out. When they got to the area the men took off running. One of them, 18 year old Myles Abbot started firing at random people as he ran off. Luckily he didn't hit anybody but himself as he shot himself in the thigh. It was at that point that Myles climbed atop a roof and started pointing the gun at officers, thus starting their 6 hour stand off. Negotiators tried everything from talking to the man to bringing his sister out to talk. Neither one of those options worked, so using "specialized equipment" and bean bag rounds, they eventually got him off the roof. They took Myles to the hospital for to fix the leg he shot, and was charged with loitering, prowling, aggravated assault on an officer and resisting without violence. They did get the other two. Ki'moni Anderson was taken in for grand theft of a firearm, carrying a concealed firearm and felon in possession of a firearm, and a 16 year old was also charged with similar charges.
