A British boy is recovering after getting a USB cable stuck in his penis. A study from Urology Case Reports describes how a 15-year-old boy, possibly feeling sexually curious, managed to insert the wire down his urethra to his scrotum. He reportedly tried to remove it but only managed to tangle the wire, resulting in both ends sticking out of his penis. He was taken to the hospital and underwent emergency surgery, where staff made a cut from his genitals to his anus to yank the cord out. The boy is said to have suffered little trauma. Experts say there are a number of varied reasons someone may try to insert a foreign object into their urethra, commonly known as "sounding."
