Arkansas Fire Captain Claims 'Involuntarily Intoxication' At Casino Fight

A resigned Arkansas fire captain is claiming "involuntary intoxication" as his defense in a casino fight from last month. Benjamin Snodgrass was charged with battery for a fight outside Oaklawn Casino in Hot Springs. Before the alleged attack, the victim, who is Asian, says Snodgrass told him he "did not belong in this country." Snodgrass' defense says he consumed ten alcoholic beverages and was "dosed with a hallucinogen," adding, "first responders of Garland County failed him." However, prosecutors say there is no evidence Snodgrass was drugged, but he may have willingly taken MDMA and forgotten it. Snodgrass is scheduled to appear in court again on October 1st.
