But not everyone is on board. Three elementary schools in New York have banned the costumes, saying they send a violent message. Other districts aren't going as far, pointing out the real problem is children mimicking the show. "Squid Game" is about people hoping to win money by competing in kids games where the losers are killed. A school in Ireland and another in Spain have also banned the costumes.
