A Virginia man who tried to give his brother a ride ended up accidentally killing him instead. Virginia State Police say Carlton Stith was driving along Route 1 yesterday when he saw Jerry Van Stith walking on the side of the road. He stopped his pickup truck and began backing up, striking his brother who was pronounced dead at the scene. Carlton Stith was charged with improper backing.
