A man is under arrest in Maine after making a false claim that he found staples in some of his son's Halloween candy. Police say 27-year-old Alexander Hanks told police he discovered the staples and metal shards in the candy after his son went trick-or-treating. Police investigated the claim, and Hanks later admitted that he made the whole thing up. He's now been charged with filing a false report.
