A Massachusetts dispensary has broken a world record but it won't be official. MariMed is a multi state cannabis operator that decided to bake an 850 pound pot brownie to celebrate National Brownie Day today. Aside from containing 20,000 milligrams of THC, the baked good also includes 1,344 eggs, 250 pounds of sugar, 212 pounds of butter, 81 pounds of flour, & 122 pounds of cocoa powder, among other ingredients. It took 5 confectioners 24 hours to make the brownie. They say that the hardest part was stabilizing the brownie. They had to make a special pallet with extra supports just to make sure the brownie was safe. They say that this brownie is the equivalent of 4,000 of their regular brownies that only contain 5 milligrams of THC. The company plans on selling the brownie to a medical patient there in Mass. They did apply for a Guinness World Record since it does out weigh the previous record holder which weighed in at 243 pound, but Guinness said no because they no longer accept applications or create new record titles that are related to the consumption, preparation, or use of tobacco, cannabis, or nicotine products.
