Couple Attacks McDonald's Manager Over Splenda Packet

Is artificial sweetener worth going to jail? A Georgia couple thinks so. In late November Marshall Wallace and his old lady Crystal went to get some food at McDonalds through the drive-thru, and when they got their order they realized they were shorted a packet of Splenda. The two started banging on the drive thru window demanding their sweetener. When they were told that they'd have to come inside and get it, that made them even more mad. The two then went inside and started a commotion eventually causing Marshall to throw a chair at the manager, while Crystal threw a drink and tried to hit another employee. The two were caught on video that was posted to Twitter and Tik Tok. Police caught up with the couple Tuesday and arrested them. Crystal got simple assault, criminal trespass, and disorderly conduct, while Marshall got criminal trespass, disorderly conduct, and simple battery. They're still in jail.
