Old folks can't handle the ganja. In South Dakota, 73 year old Irene Koranda thought it would a nice gesture to bring a pan of brownies to the local community center to share with her senior friends when they gathered to play cards. Thig is...she didn't make the brownies...her son did. Her son, 46 year old Michael is an elementary school music teacher whom recently went to Colorado and brought back some pot butter. When he got back home from his trip, he made a batch of brownies with the butter he had gotten and left them on the counter. His momma found them and thought to take them to share. Once the seniors started to feel the effects of the treats, they called police thinking they had been poisoned. When sheriffs deputies arrived to see what the deal was, Irene handed over what was left of the brownies to them. Michael ended up getting arrested for possession of a controlled substance which is a felony, and now he's looking at a possible 5 years in prison due to the mishap.
