An airline in Kenya says it will stop transporting monkeys to U.S. laboratories following a highway crash last month in Pennsylvania. Kenya Airways says they will not renew their contract with the shipper who paid them to fly over 100 monkeys to the U.S for vaccine research. On January 21st, a truck transporting the monkeys through Pennsylvania to an out-of-state lab overturned on Route 54 near I-80, allowing several animals to escape temporarily. A Danville woman who came in contact with the animals had to be treated for rabies and other infections.
