In New York a young female college student ordered an Apple phone charger, but what she actually received was not able to charge her phone. When the young woman got home last week, she found a package on her step. As she had been expecting a package, this was not what she was expecting. The label had her name and address on it along with stickers that said cremated remains. Through a hole in the package, she could see that there was an urn in there with ashes spilled all inside. She found a sticker on the box that showed that it was mailed from a funeral home in Auburn. She was able to track down the actual owners of the remains who had been waiting 8 days to get the package, so they made arrangements to meet up and deliver their sisters remains. The student still has yet to get her phone charger and says that she has had trouble sleeping at night because of the whole ordeal and is seeking counseling. The post office sent out an apology and is investigating.
