Hotels in Venice, Italy are helping their guests combat nature's assholes...seagulls. The gulls in the area have gotten more and more aggressive, attacking anyone they see for their food or whatever they want. In an effort to beat off these pesky birds, hotels are now arming their guests with water guns. One hotel director said they really work, they're also colored orange which the gulls hate. He says that gulls are already avoiding anyone with a gun, and that you don't even really have to use it, just keep it on your table and as soon as they see it they fly away. The hoteliers association in Venice is also looking at electrostatic and sound based devices to also help combat the birds.
