Man Assaulted Hotel Employee With Wizard Wand

A Minnesota man is looking at a few months in jail for being an unruly dork. 29 year old Skylar Eros Dupree Thomas was at the Hyatt Place Hotel earlier this month even though he was banned from the establishment back in November. According to reports, Thomas entered the hotel and stuck his hand into a bowl full of room keys. The employee recognized him from a trespass notice from back in November of 2021. The worker asked Skyler nicely several times to leave but Skylar refused. Instead, he argued and called the man a few racial slurs. The worker told Skyler that he was trespassing and asked him to leave again. Well, Skylar did decide to leave with the employee walking about six feet behind him. As Skyler exited the hotel, he turned around and pointed his wizard wand at the man and started walking towards him. The employee thought it was a knife which prompted the employee to pull his gun out and point it at the man. The unfazed wizard wannabe then turned around and kicked a trashcan before walking away. Skyler turned around and pointed his wand at the man again, causing the employee to kick the man a few times before he fled. Cops caught up with Skyler who admitted to having a wand which is really just a 16 inch stick that he fashioned to look like a wand. If Skylar is convicted he's looking at 180 days in jail.
