Restaurant Worker Arrested After Throwing Grease On Customer

Just outside Birmingham Alabama a customer went through the Arby's drive thru and got more than they expected. Police didn't provide details on what started the dispute, but according to reports, the 50 year old employee threw hot grease at a customer causing severe second degree burns over a large part of her body. The customer was taken to the hospital to be treated and has filed a civil suit seeking an unspecified amount of money. The worker was arrested and released on a $30,000 bail. Arby's has since fired the employee and called her actions "reprehensible." They released a statement saying, "Our heart goes out to the guest, and we are working to help support their recovery."
