Man Accused Of $4.2 Million In Medicare Fraud Flees On Jet Ski

Cuban native Ernesto Cruz Graveran is a Florida resident that runs Xiko Enterprises. According to reports, Ernie here submitted Medicare claims to the tune of $4.2 million in fraudulent claims from February to April this year for medical equipment he never provided and beneficiaries never requested. The feds learned about the scheme and started investigating the man. When they caught up to him, he admitted to being a nominee owner of the company and that an associate paid him to use his name for the business and bank account. He first agreed to cooperate with the feds and turned over his passport, but then decided to take off to Cuba on a jet ski. The Coast Guard ended up finding him broken down just south of the Florida Keys. They say he was with a known migrant smuggler and that the jet ski was loaded with a special fuel cell made for long trips, along with extra food and water.
