Kill it with fire is really just an expression. In Utah earlier this week, 26 year old Cory Martin was hanging out in the mountains getting medicated when he spotted a spider. Cory thought...hey...let's burn this thing alive....so he tried. Instead of killing the spider, he accidentally set fire to some nearby brush that went up in flames quickly, burning 60 acres of U.S. Forest Service land. After receiving several calls about the fire, emergency crews went to check it out and that's when they found Cory coming down the mountain. The crews escorted him down the hill to talk to authorities and that's when he admitted to starting the fire, and told them what had happened. While searching his things, police found a jar of weed and some paraphernalia. Cory was taken in for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, and is being investigated for reckless burning.
