Co-Pilot "Visibly Upset" Before Leaving Plane Mid-Air

In late July, a North Carolina pilot and co-pilot were making their rounds as a skydive crew when the co-pilot said eff this...I'm outta here. According to reports. the pair had already picked up and delivered two sets of divers and was on the way to pick up a third when they had a hard landing on the runway causing damage to the landing gear caused by the co-pilot, Charles Crooks. The pilot took over and was getting the plane back up to 400 feet when the co-pilot opened the window and barfed. Instead of asking for redirection for an emergency landing, Chuck lowered the ramp in the back indicating that he needs some fresh air. Chuck then took his headset off, apologized, and made his way to the ramp. That's when he jumped out of the plane without a parachute. The pilot notified air traffic control about the dismissal and eventually landed the plane. Chuck was found in a back yard hours later, and the incident is still under investigation.
