For the third time this month, a tree has fallen in New York City. This time, the tree hit a seven-year-old girl who was walking with her mother Ocean Parkway near Lawrence Avenue around 11 a.m.. At least three cars were also smashed, while the girl suffered a leg injury and is expected to be okay. The Parks Department said the tree was on private property, so it wasn't maintained by them.
