Thieves Steal Cars To Steal Guns But Couldn't Break Into Cases

Two states, three cars, two stores. Yesterday a band of thieves stole a car in Illinois, used it to smash through the front of an Academy Sports, and attempted to steal guns from the store. When that didn't work out , the thieves then stole two more and tried the same thing at an Academy in St. Peters Missouri. According to reports, a Silver Hyundai and a red sedan pulled up to the St. Peters store. The group used the Hyundai to smash through the front door of the store while the red sedan waited outside to make the getaway. Video surveillance shows the car running through window then driving through one of the aisles while the bandits ran around the store. The thieves tried to shoot the bulletproof glass of the gun cases but when that didn't work they tried kicking it a few times. When that didn't work, the bandits bailed and took off. Luckily no guns were taken at all and the police in both Missouri and Illinois are searching for the suspects.
