A team of scientists in Scotland has come up with a way to use artificial intelligence to kill cockroaches. Scientists at a university in Edinburgh used A.I. to create a device automated with machine vision that can accurately detect cockroaches and "neutralize," in other words, "kill" them from nearly four feet away. A report on the sophisticated roach-killing device was published in last week's edition of the journal Oriental Insects.
