Thieves Caught Stealing Riding Lawnmower Using Mustang As Getaway Car

There's a reason why tweekers aren't rocket scientists.... In Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, two tweekers, 24 year old James Leatherwood and his friend 33 year old Steven Shepard decided it would be a great idea to break into their local Tractor Supply store and try to steal a zero turn mower. Well....police got the call of an alarm going off and went to check it out. When they got there, they caught the two in the act. The driver was in the Mustang parked around the back, and as police surrounded the store, they found the second man in a locked fenced-in area trying to steal the mower. After getting Stevie detained, officers found a hacksaw, along with a small amount of meth on him. Apparently the two men two women at the Walmart while they tried to take the mower. One of those women were arrested for shoplifting, and the two dudes were taken in for felony second degree burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary, and possession of burglary tools.
