A former Connecticut cop has lost his certification to work in law enforcement for lying about how the computer in his cruiser was broken. Officer Austin Harris told his supervisor last December that the computer was damaged when he slowed to avoid hitting raccoons in the road. However, a dash camera video of his shift revealed that Harris was parked and listening to music and broke the computer drumming with his baton. Once caught in the lie, Harris was suspended in early January and was fired weeks later.
