After being trapped in a cave more than 200 feet below ground level, five individuals are now safe in Arizona. At the Grand Canyon Caverns, southwest of the Grand Canyon, an elevator malfunctioned on Sunday, leaving the guests stuck. Some of the younger tourists were able to flee by ascending 21 flights of steps to the emergency exit. Those who were unable to make the ascent made the choice to spend the night within the enormous cave, which has a tourist suite with a shower, a kitchenette, and a television.
