Waffle House Wallet Thief Says The Money Was Calling Her

Ain't nothin' worse than a thief.... Monday a man went to his local Waffle House in the early morning hours to enjoy some semi-tasty food. When he got done, he paid for his food and left, leaving his wallet on the counter by accident. That's when 47 year old Kwanita Morton spotted the wallet and decided it was hers for the taking. Kwanita then put her hat over the wallet and slyly slid it off the counter into her and and left, leaving her husband and child inside to pay for the food they had eaten. The owner of the wallet realized he had left it at the WH and went back to get it, but it was gone. He called the cops who came and looked at security footage and found that Kwanita indeed took the man's belongings. When police caught up with Kwanita, she explained to them that "the money was calling to her". She was taken in on felony grand theft...not the first time she's been caught stealing.
