Gunfire broke out during a family gaming night on Saturday in Tulsa. According to the police, John Armstrong and his stepfather got into a quarrel while the family was playing Monopoly and drinking wine. A family member instructed them to move the fight outside after they reportedly turned over furniture and the Monopoly board. According to the police, after Armstrong cut his head, he took out his gun and pointed it at his stepfather and stepsister as he chased them down the street. Police were informed by Armstrong that he had fired one round of ammunition "to the ground" to keep them away from his mother. The story was supported by game pieces and Monopoly money lying throughout the living room, according to the police. Armstrong was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon.
