Former City Prosecutor Admits To Illegally Obtaining Phone Records

A former Baltimore homicide prosecutor has pleaded guilty to using his authority to stalk his exes. Adam Chaudry admitted in federal court that he used his position to illegally get the phone records of women he dated but it had nothing to do with criminal investigations. Prosecutors say Chaudry issued grand jury and trial subpoenas to get the information between January of 2019 and April of 2021. Chaudry faces a maximum sentence of 15 years in federal prison for each of the two counts of fraud in obtaining records. He will be sentenced in March.
