A Memphis man is set to appear in court today after allegedly throwing his one-year-old son during an argument. Officials say Edwin Conner was arguing with his girlfriend at the Airport Inn before he physically assaulted her. The victim called the police who did not arrive until Conner had already left. He allegedly returned several hours later and took their son from the backseat of the victim's car as she was preparing to leave. Officials say he then dangled the child over a fence before throwing him on the ground. The child sustained minor injuries and Conner was taken into custody.
