Woman Tells Jailers...."That's A Sex Toy"

Last week, 57 year old Carmela Manies was picked up on a failure to appear warrant for allegedly stealing stuff from Wal-Mart last year sometime. When she was booked in, police conducted a strip search at the jail. Officers noticed an object protruding from the woman's prison pocket. That's when Carmela removed said object, threw it on the ground, and stepped on it in attempts to destroy the item. She then tried to explain to officers that the glass pipe found was actually a sex toy. Officers noticed the broken pieces had burn marks consistent with those on a crack pipe. She was charged with introducing contraband into a detention facility and tampering with evidence.
