In northern Germany, the Hanover State Opera will be looking for a new director. According to reports, over the weekend the opera house had a performance that was viewed by a local critic. During a break of the performance, director and choreographer Maco Goecke approached the critic in a busy foyer and threatened to ban her, blaming her for poor ticket sales. Before getting physical Marco got more and more upset, eventually pulling out a paper bag with dog poop in it, and smearing it on the face of the critic before simply walking away. The opera house has since suspended the man and banned him from the venue. They have agreed to give the man a chance to apologize and explain himself before going any further.
