Woman Finds Husband's Body In Wardrobe Months After Reporting Him Missing

Back in April of 2022, Jennifer Maedge of Illinois, reported her husband Richard missing. Police came out twice and searched the property but didn't find anything but a funky smell while a plumber was also said to have eventually fixed the smell. Life went on for the woman, and in December, she was getting some Christmas decorations from the closet in December, and that's when she found her mummified husband and called 9-1-1. She told authorities that she rarely goes into that closet and it was mostly filled with junk. Her husband Richard's death was ruled a suicide according to the county coroner. Police say there were no injuries found on the man and suspect no foul play. The family is happy they finally can put him to rest.
