In Milwaukee, a man finally decided it was time to leave his home after the 17th car had run into it. Currently, Junious Merriweather’s home is being called “uninhabitable” as he waits for repair work to be completed after the latest automotive run-in. Merriweather says he “never intended to leave his home,” but now his insurance company has shelled out hundreds of thousands of dollars in repairs because people keep running off the road and into his place. Merriweather has contacted the city about making changes to the curve on the road outside or putting up barriers, but so far no changes have been made.
