Friday night around 6:30p.m., 38 year old Michael Stevens II stole a 1986 923 A 5 ton military vehicle from a residence in Maryland. According to reports, Mike hopped on the highway with the machine and headed towards Baltimore. Officers from several agencies started pursuing the vehicle attempting to stop it with stop sticks but failed. Eventually, after crashing into several vehicles, the truck stopped and Mike took off on foot. Police were able to arrest the man and bring him in. He was taken in on motor vehicle theft, two counts of 1st degree assault, two counts of 2nd degree assault, and failing to bey a lawful order. Apparently, Mike had just gotten out of jail right before stealing the truck.
