In Maryland, police were called to do a welfare check for a 71 year old Margaret Craig who had been reported missing for several days. When police showed up to the house, they could smell a decomposing body coming from the basement. When they searched, they found three separate bags of rotting remains. According to reports, Margaret accused her daughter, 44 year old Candice Craig of credit card fraud, which led to an argument, which led to the death of Margaret. They accuse the woman's daughter, 19 year old Alia Hardy of finding the body in aplastic bin and helping to dismember and dispose of it. Authorities believe that they two used a chainsaw to dismember the woman, then burning the body parts on a grill and in bonfire. They think the fires go back as far as late May. The body was in so bad of shape that immediate identification couldn't be done, but they feel DNA will prove the remains to be Margaret. A preliminary hearing is set for July 3rd.
