A woman is suing a California restaurant claiming her meal was so spicy it was "unfit for human consumption." The lawsuit also names the cook, waitressing staff, and owner of Coup De Thai in Los Gatos. She accuses them of negligence and intentional infliction of emotional distress. The woman says she ordered an appetizer called "Dragon Balls" in the summer of 2021. She claims the bites she took were so spicy, she suffered burns on her vocal chords, esophagus and nose. The woman is demanding money for medical expenses and to cover a loss of income.
