Woman Attacked By Snake & Hawk

A Texas woman may be the luckiest, unlucky person alive. Peggy Jones was out on the tractor mowing her lawn when a snake fell from the sky and wrapped itself around her arm. She says the snake was squeezing her arm as she was waving it around trying to shake the serpent off. As if that wasn't bad enough...as she was waving her arm around, a hawk swooped down and started clawing at her arm trying to get the snake. She says the hawk came down on her at least four times before it was all said and done, and all Peggy could say at the time was "Help me Jesus, help me!" Eventually the hawk flew off with the snake. Her husband heard the commotion and came outside to see what was going on. He took her to the emergency room where she learned she wasn't bitten by the snake, but an attempt was made, as she found venom on her glasses. She considers herself to be lucky being as that she survived the strange event. Not the first time Peggy was attacked by a snake. She survived a venomous snake attack a few years back.
