The family of a custodial worker whose body was found decomposed in a Columbia, South Carolina department store is suing. Bessie Durham was found in a Belk's department store restroom last year. Police say the 63-year-old was last seen cleaning the bathrooms when she passed away, and her body wasn't discovered until four days later. Her family's lawsuit claims Belk failed to supervise the cleaning contractors and their pain and suffering grew when they could smell her badly decomposed body inside the casket at the funeral.
