A Pennsylvania State Trooper is in custody and facing charges after he allegedly had a woman involuntarily committed under false pretenses. Authorities say 37-year-old Ronald Davis was having an intimate relationship with the victim when he tried to portray her as suicidal and harmful to herself to have her committed to a hospital following a domestic dispute. He is facing several charges, including felony strangulation, false imprisonment and recklessly endangering another person.
