A man officiating a wedding in Nebraska is facing charges after he accidentally shot his 12-year-old grandson during the ceremony. According to police, Michael Gardner attempted to shoot a revolver loaded with a blank into the air to get the guests' attention and "start the wedding with a bang." The gun slipped and he shot his grandson in the shoulder. His injuries are non-life-threatening. The wedding was taking place in Denton, southwest of Lincoln.
