Lincoln County District Judge Traci Soderstrom was presiding over a case where a man fatally beat a 2-year-old. Cameras above the bench caught her texting and scrolling. Soderstrom texted the bailiff over 500 times with comments mocking the prosecutor, praising the defense attorney and calling a key witness a liar. When questioned about her texts, she said they probably could have waited. The chief justice of the Oklahoma Supreme Court says the judge needs to go. The defendant was found guilty.
