A Hawaii woman has to pay nearly 39-thousand-dollars in restitution for interfering with an American Airlines flight last year. Prosecutors say Cayla Farris threatened and swore at the crew and passengers on a flight from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport to Honolulu. The captain had to turn the plane back around to Phoenix because the flight crew were unable to continue their duties and several flights had to be rerouted as a result of the incident. Farris was sentenced to time served of more than three months and isn't allowed to fly commercially without approval while under supervised release for three years.
