Remember Ted the movie...well they are making it a TV show? [WATCH]

Seth MacFarlane’s foul-mouthed stuffed teddy bear is back… and this time he’s got his own series. “Ted” is officially set for its streaming debut, now that it has a premiere date with Peacock. The show, which is set back in 1993, is scheduled to drop January 11th. “Ted the bear’s moment of fame has passed,” says the show’s official summary. The living stuffed animal finds himself living with the younger version of Mark Wahlberg’s character from the movies, this time played by Max Burkholder. “Ted may be a lousy influence on John, but at the end of the day, he’s a loyal pal.” MacFarlane acts as writer and producer on the series, which also stars Scott Grimes and Alanna Ubach as John’s parents. Season one of “Ted” contains seven episodes.
