Just outside Jacksonville Florida over the weekend, the town of Middleburg had their Christmas Parade. As the parade was going on one resident, 43 year old Douglas Moore, got agitated at what the parade goers were doing. That's when he discharged a pistol several times while walking onto the property where a group of people were. SWAT and deputies arrived to find an angry mob yelling at Doug asking him why he was shooting at them. After Doug refused to comply with commands to get on the ground, deputies took him down and cuffed him. They say Doug had slurred speech and bloodshot watery eyes. Luckily no one was hit by the gunfire and Doug was taken in for six counts of aggravated assault, reckless discharge of a gun, and using a firearm while under the influence.
