The 71-year-old man is accused of robbing a bank in Sun Valley on December 21st, but the Los Angeles Police Department did not release details until Tuesday. Investigators say he allegedly grabbed an employee and threatened to shoot him if he wasn't let into a secure area of the bank. He allegedly left with more than 60 thousand dollars in cash. The man, who has four prior bank robbery convictions, had been out of prison on supervised release since 2021.
