Man Fined over 4500-Dollars For Throwing Trash On The Side Of Road

A man's being ordered to pick up the trash a Northeast Iowa sheriff's department says he dumped in a ditch along a rural road. Deputies found box springs and mattresses as well as bags of trash. The Fayette County Sheriff's office says in a Facebook Post that they tracked down and cited the 32-year-old man for throwing litter on a highway. He's been ordered to clean it up, and pay nearly five-thousand dollars in fines.
