According to reports, thieves in Pasadena are taking 1920s era streetlights. Authorities are searching for a suspect or suspects that have stolen more than a dozen of the bronze lights. The thefts occurred between March 29th and April 1st between 11p.m. and 3 a.m.. They say that they've had 11 of them stolen in the past four days alone. The poles are more than 100 years old and cost upwards of $1,600 to replace. Police say the thieves are using a car to ram the poles loose before connecting a chain to them to rip them out of the ground. Residents say that the thefts have left the streets dark making them feel unsafe.
